Training & Capacity Building
YC acquired demonstrated skills in the human resources development through offering training and institutional capacity building activities, recruitment and HR policy formulation for industry-specific staff and employees. YC also conducted a series of Training Program on “Labor Standard and Workplace Environment in RMG and Textile Industry’ supported by Export Promotion Bureau, Ministry of Commerce, GoB. YC prepared the Institutional Capacity Plan for Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI), funded by Bangladesh Trade Support Program jointly implemented by European Commission and Ministry of Commerce (MOC). YC also conducted a study to identify required policy support to enhance export competitiveness of major Bangladesh Exports (RMG, Textile, Pharmaceutical and footwear & Leather) goods funded by Bangladesh Trade Support Programme (BTSP), jointly implemented by European Commission and Ministry of Commerce (MOC), GOB.
Over the last 26 years of its dedicated operation, YC conducted numerous Training and Capacity Building Studies. Some of its relevant and similar studies are as mentioned below:
Bangladesh Trade Support Programme - EC/ Capacity building of 50 non-cadre official of MOC in trade Policy Foundation Course/ Module Development and co facilitation of Training Course. BTSP, Ministry of Commerce, GOB, Bangladesh (May 2015 – June 2015).
Basic skill development Training on trade policy for MoC personal officers and administrative officers/ Actual services provided within the assignment: Mobilize the Resource Team; Module development and finalization; Preparation and development of all other required material for training course; Arranged all required logistic support to conduct the training course; Conducted the more than 1 month training course on at the scheduled time; Preparation and distribution certificate among the participant.
